Hello everyone! My name is Asil Ali. I will be this year's Director of Events and Interim Director of Alumni Relations! I am a transfer student going into my last year, with a concentration in marketing. A little about myself: I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to California when I was 11. I love soccer, movies, and learning about other cultures.

I joined LBSA in hopes of being a part of a community, learning about the culture, and boosting my career. I got exactly that! Joining LBSA is the best thing I have done in my college career, and I have gotten so many opportunities. I got to meet many great people and connect with professionals. Despite not being a Latino member, I never once felt unwelcome. My favorite memory is going to Big Bear with the board and several general members. I really invested myself in the community, and it showed when I won the "Member of the Year" title last year. I want to use my skills and my new position as director to give back to LBSA, which has given me so much. Excited to meet you all!
