Three Pillars of LBSA

The three pillars of the Latino Business Student Association are professional development, leadership, and community involvement. These pillars help create a space where students can join, connect, and succeed, both personally and professionally.

LBSA is all about helping our members grow and prepare for their careers. We focus on creating opportunities for students to connect with professionals, learn from workshops, and gain insights through speaker events and networking mixers.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between school and the real world, giving members the tools, confidence, and support to succeed in whatever they pursue. It’s all about building relationships, learning together, and empowering each other to thrive.

LBSA focuses on cultivating strong leaders by providing opportunities for members to develop essential skills such as public speaking, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Through mentorship programs, experienced members and alumni guide others in their personal and professional growth, while members are encouraged to take initiative by leading committees, events, and organizational initiatives.

The pillar also emphasizes community involvement through service projects and collaborations with other organizations to promote socially responsible leadership. To inspire and motivate members, outstanding contributions are recognized through awards and member spotlights, reinforcing the importance of leadership within LBSA. Overall, this pillar empowers members to take charge, fostering growth and preparing them for future career success.
