Hi everyone! My name is Sherlyne Limon, and I am excited to serve as LBSA’s Vice President for the 2026–2027 academic year. I am a second-year Business Administration student with a concentration in Legal Studies.

I joined LBSA during my freshman year and quickly realized that it was a place where I could genuinely be myself while also growing as a student and young professional. Serving on the board during my first year pushed me to become more confident, take initiative, and connect with people I may not have met otherwise. It also showed me how meaningful it is to be surrounded by students who understand one another’s experiences and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

This year, I want to be someone our members feel comfortable approaching, whether they need guidance, encouragement, or simply someone to talk to. As Vice President, I look forward to working alongside our Executive Board to introduce new ideas, create memorable experiences, and make LBSA a space where everyone feels like they belong. I especially hope to encourage newer members to become involved, step outside their comfort zones, and take advantage of every opportunity LBSA has to offer.

As a first-generation college student who has often helped my family communicate and navigate unfamiliar situations, I developed an interest in using my voice to advocate for others. After graduating, I plan to attend law school and become an attorney, with a particular interest in corporate and immigration law. I currently work at an immigration law office, where I continue learning how legal advocacy can directly impact individuals and families. I am also passionate about entrepreneurship and run my own floral business, Bouquets by Sherlyne, where I create custom floral arrangements and bring my creativity to life.

When I am not studying, working, or helping with LBSA, I enjoy spending time with my family, boyfriend, and friends, dancing, trying new things, and going to the beach!
