Hello everyone. My name is Matthew Pimentel and I am one of your two Co-Directors of Corporate Relations. I am a third year Mathematics major in the Applied Mathematics Concentration, and I am also minoring in Chicano/a Studies and Data Science. Alongside being on Board for LBSA, I am also on board for Mas Familia where I serve as AICA Representative, and for Fandom Forward where I serve as Treasurer. My favorite LBSA memory is when I attended the 2024 Palapas fundraiser as it allowed me to connect with many members of LBSA and other students on campus, and this event really helped me feel welcomed by the LBSA community which ultimately inspired me to run for board.

One of my favorite hobbies is exploring new music artists and genres, and as you get to know me more, it will be obvious as I always usually have my headphones on. My favorite artists/bands currently are A$AP Rocky, TV Girl, Arctic Monkeys, The Weeknd, and ScHoolboy Q, and when I get invested in an artist, I usually go as far as listening to all of their unreleased projects alongside their mainstream work. Currently my favorite songs are Til Dawn by the Weeknd, Trilla by A$AP Rocky, Therapy by Mac Miller, and Louise by TV Girl. I also love exploring new food places and going to the gym, and I am always down to take part in both activities whenever anyone is interested.

This year, I really look forward to presenting more opportunities for us all to connect with corporate sponsors and speakers beyond our general meetings. I hope to present and attend as many professional workshops both on campus and off campus to strengthen all of your connections in the corporate world alongside building my own. I also look forward to all the tasks I have with my three leadership roles as I have not taken any leadership roles during my college career, and I hope to strengthen my work ethic throughout the year in doing so. In addition, I really look forward to connecting with all of you, whether new or returning members, and I hope to make the best memories possible with you all.
