MEET KEILY AMAYA

Hello!! My name is Keily Amaya and I am this year’s LBSA President! I am an incoming fourth year majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in General Management. I first joined LBSA as a general member back in my sophomore year, unsure of what to expect. I joined in hopes of finding a community, one where I would feel at home while advancing my professional career. However, what I found was more than just that. I found a family. A home away from home. Throughout my involvement being on board, I have made the most profound memories out of my college experience in LBSA…with my favorite memory being the time we attended Netflix’s Headquarters in Los Angeles!

What I’m looking forward to the most is seeing all our new and returning faces with our members making the most out of LBSA! A little more about me!! I grew up in the heart of South East Los Angeles in a city called Huntington Park. As an only child, I also grew up watching many movies, and at some point was weirdly obsessed with The Hunger Games series. Out of all movies, my favorite film would have to be American Beauty (1999) because of its complex themes, storyline and soundtrack. I also love music. Within the past 5 years I’ve been to 14+ concerts including Beyonce (my fav!!), Ariana Grande, System of a Down, Deftones, and many more…you can definitely say my music taste is everywhere. (•﹏•;)
